Metro Trans Umbrella Group

MTUG is a place for trans, nonbinary, and intersex people in St. Louis to find community, resources, and support. Several support groups for those 18 and older meet at the center or virtually. A food pantry, community clothing closet, memorial garden, and quarterly magazine are part of their work.
PFLAG of Greater St. Louis

PFLAG of Greater St. Louis welcomes anyone who wants to learn more about how to love and support their LGBTQ+ loved ones and/or how to be an ally to and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. We also provide a safe, affirming space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to receive support and to share their lived experiences and perspectives. PFLAG chapters exist across the country.

For 40 years, PROMO has been the state-wide LGBTQ+ advocacy and public policy organization. Connect with them to learn about key legislative issues and how you can help.
St. Louis Anti Violence Project *

For more than 10 years, STLAVP has provided awareness of relational violence within and to the LGBTQIA+ community. They offer a certification through our LGBTQIA+ Anti-Violence Training and Technical Assistance (LATTA) and awareness trainings to local businesses and nonprofits.
St. Louis Queer Support and Healing

SQSH is a grassroots nonprofit that nurtures connection, healing, and empowerment within our St. Louis Metro Area’s LGBTQIA+ community. Its SQSHBook Resource Guide is a valuable online tool connecting LGBTQ+ people with valuable services. Its Peer Support Helpline provides short-term, one-time peer counseling.
Trans Housing Initiative of St. Louis

THISTL is a trans-led organization committed to tackling systemic injustices in housing that transgender people face in the St. Louis region. Their financial workshops and mutual aid program help trans and gender-expansive humans access equitable housing.
TransParent USA
Their mission is to bring compassionate support to parents and caregivers navigating complex issues faced by their gender-expansive children of any age. In addition to the local chapter, there are TransParent chapters in several states.
